Founders’ Story
Equality Life Disability Support Service was founded in 2021 by Ally Morris and Taylor Morris, a proud mother-and-daughter team driven by the belief that everyone deserves the opportunity to live life their way.
With a shared passion for helping others and a strong commitment to person-centred care, we created Equality Life to provide high-quality, reliable, and compassionate support to people with disabilities and their families. Our journey began with a simple but powerful vision: to build a service where individuals feel truly seen, heard, and supported in achieving their goals.
As a family-led organisation, our values are deeply personal and woven into everything we do. Being family-run means we understand firsthand the importance of building trust, showing respect, and creating genuine human connection. It means we treat every participant not just as a client, but as part of our extended family. Our lived experience informs our approach, making us more empathetic, more flexible, and more driven to ensure every person we support feels valued and empowered.
We believe that a family foundation brings heart and authenticity to our work — creating an environment that is warm, inclusive, and deeply supportive. Our commitment to care isn’t just professional; it’s personal.
We are proud to offer a wide range of services, including support coordination, specialist support coordination, recovery coaching, in-home and community supports, and so much more – all designed to empower people to live independently and confidently.
Most importantly, we are incredibly proud of our team. Each member brings compassion, skill, and dedication, making Equality Life not just a service, but a true community. It is through their commitment and care that we are able to deliver the quality of support we envisioned from the very beginning.
Together with our team, we are honoured to walk alongside participants and their families, supporting them to live fulfilling lives and to reach their goals with confidence.
